DDA Delhi has recently come up with housing schemes in 2024 with an effort to address the housing needs of individuals and families belonging to low-income groups (LIG) and economically weaker sections (EWS) of the society. Additionally, DDA is offering an opportunity to the high-income group (HIG) and middle-income group (MIG) as well, through its schemes. The DDA housing schemes for these purposes are DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme, DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme and DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme. About DDA

DDA’s full form is Delhi Development Authority. Established under the Delhi Development Act, DDA is a statutory body which falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. 

DDA plays an essential role in the development of Delhi. It is responsible for the planning, development and construction of housing projects and commercial lands. You must’ve spotted many properties constructed by DDA such as DDA complexes, DDA flats and DDA parks. The DDA flats are generally more affordable than other flats. 

Some schemes launched by DDA for affordable housing are DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme, DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme, DDA General Housing Scheme, DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme.

DDA Housing Schemes 2024

Having a shelter is one of the essential requirements for any individual. In order to make housing more affordable for individuals, DDA has come up with DDA Housing Schemes in 2024, namely, DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme, DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme and DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme. All these schemes have been rolled out by DDA this year, so that more people can own flats in Delhi.

If you’re looking to own an affordable house of your own, hurry up! According to the officials, 750 people have registered in Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024 while 405 people have registered in DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme 2024 on 22nd August. In DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024, 414 people registered in the first two days. The registration for this specific scheme began on 21st August.

DDA Housing Scheme 1: Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for this scheme is defined below:

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • He/she must have completed 18 years of age.
  • He/she must have a valid permanent account number (PAN)
  • The family income of the applicant and joint/co-applicant should not exceed Rs. 10 LPA in case of both the families considered separately.

About Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme

A total of 34,177 flats are being offered at discounted rates by the Delhi Development Authority under the Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme. The flats prices start at Rs. 11.5 lakh and go up to Rs. 28.47 lakh. The Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme is specifically designed for low-income groups and economically weaker sections. The housing units under this scheme are being offered in Siraspur, Ramgarh Colony, Rohini, Narela and Lok Nayak Puram. 

The registration for this DDA housing scheme 2024 began on 22nd August, 2024 at 11 am. The booking of flats under this scheme will begin from 10th September, 2024 at 11 am onwards (as stated in the DDA brochure). This scheme will close on March 31, 2025.

To apply for this scheme, visit DDA portal and create login credentials using PAN and other details. Then login with the same and register for DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme by paying a registration fee of Rs. 2500 online. This fee is non-refundable.

DDA Housing Scheme 2: DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for this scheme is mentioned below:

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • He/she must have completed 18 years of age.
  • He/she must have a valid permanent account number (PAN)
  • The family income of the applicant and joint/co-applicant, applying for EWS flats, should not exceed Rs. 10 LPA in case of both the families considered separately.
  • No income criterion is there other categories except EWS. 
  • High-Income Group (HIG), Medium-Income Group (MIG) or Low-Income Group (LIG) can apply under this scheme.

About DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme

This DDA scheme offers 5,531 flats which range from Rs. 29 lakh to Rs. 2.18 crore lakh. Whether you belong to the high-income group (HIG), medium-income group (MIG) or low-income group (LIG), you are eligible for this scheme. The registration of DDA flats under this scheme began on 22nd August, 2024. The flat booking will take place from 10th September, 11 am onwards. 

The flats are being offered on a first-come-first-serve basis, so hurry up! The scheme will close on 31st March, 2025. The DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme is offering housing units at different localities such as Narela, Loknayakpuram and Jasola.

If you are interested in applying under this scheme, you must visit the official DDA website and create login credentials using PAN and other details. Using the same, you must register for this scheme by paying a registration fee of Rs. 2,500 online. This amount is non-refundable.

DDA Housing Scheme 3: DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme

Eligibility

Here is the eligibility criteria for this scheme:

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • He/she must have completed 18 years of age.
  • He/she must have a valid permanent account number (PAN).
  • In case of joint application under SC/ST Reserved Category, the joint applicant/co-applicant should be from within the family.
  • High-Income Group (HIG), Middle-Income Group (MIG) and Low-Income Group (LIG) can also apply.

About DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme

The DDA housing scheme 2024 known as DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme offers a total of 173 flats with prices ranging from Rs. 1.28 crore to Rs. 5 crore. Under this scheme, the flats are being offered in the upscale areas of Sector 14, 16B and 19B. located in Dwarka, through online auction.

Registration for the DDA Dwarka scheme began on 21st August. 16th September, 2024 has been decided as the last date for online registration for participating in online auction and submission of online EMD. By 19th September, the application’s final submission must be made by 6 pm. 

On 20th September, DDA will make an announcement regarding the e-auction schedule. From 24th September onwards, the online e-auction will take place. The participants must get themselves registered on the e-auction portal and pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fees of Rs. 2500 against the flat they want to bid for.
