Prime Minister to launch MSME Outreach program today. This program is meant to educate and facilitate Micro small and medium enterprises with new governmental assistance. Spread across 100 districts and to be held for 10 days, this program hopes to aid the entrepreneurs who have been instrumental to the growth of Indian economy in recent years.

India has quickly evolved into a land ripe with potential to bring out the best in people. Well, it has always had it, but with the inception of startup India movement a few years ago, the youth of this country is being nudged into the right direction of entrepreneurship from time to time.

One such time is today, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch an outreach program to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The purpose of this program is to reach the maximum amount of hopefuls who are hoping to step their toes into the realm of entrepreneurship.

MSME: What is it?

If you must know an MSME certification is something that turns the Micro, Small and Medium scale Enterprises into discernable legal entities. The certification then paves the way of incentives for the owners. These incentives entail everything from easy access to government schemes, to easy access to government services. However, that is not the end of it, as the IP services like trademark registration and other services also provide some levity to the Certificate owners in terms of government fees, i.e. they would only have to pay half of it.

The Announcement

However, going back to the announcement, it is meant to focus on the following matters:

  1. Access to credit
  2. Access to Market
  3. Hand Holding
  4. Facilitation Support.

It is announced that this outreach program will run for 100 days during which its target is to cover 100 districts throughout the country. Furthermore, in order to elevate the importance of this policy even further, central ministers are going to visit these states in order to inform the entrepreneurs about various facilities that are afforded to the MSME sector by the financial institutions and the government.

The motive

The apparent motive of this announcement is boosting the MSME sector even further as it is this sector that is growing up to be the provider of major employments throughout the nation and having more and more positive impact on the growth of Indian economy.

Stay up to date with this news, as we are going to be posting more about it soon.
