You can visit the Seva Sindhu Portal to apply for the Gruha Jyothi Scheme. 

Step 1: Visit Seva Sindhu Portal

Visit the Seva Sindhu Portal of Karnataka Government and then click on the Gruha Jyothi Scheme option visible on the homepage. Once done, the online registration form page will be displayed on your screen.

Step 2: Select the Language of Choice

You can choose the language in which you want to fill the application form. Once you’ve decided on the language of choice, proceed with the filing of the application form.

Step 3: Fill in the Application Form

Using the drop-down list, select your ESCOM name and enter the account/consumer ID mentioned in your electricity bill. The name and the address of the account holder will be fetched from the ESCOM’s database automatically.

Step 4: Enter other details

Now, enter all the remaining details in the form such as the type of occupancy, aadhaar number, applicant name as mentioned in the aadhaar card. Cross-check all the details to ensure they’re correct and then provide the declaration by clicking on the “I agree” declaration button. 

Step 5: Submit the Application

Now, it’s time to submit your application for the Gruha Jyothi Scheme. Enter the captcha code available on the screen and then click on submit option to complete the application process.
