PIBOs operating in more than two states or UTs are required to register with CPCB. Importers that operate in one or two states or UTs are required to obtain EPR registration from SPCBs and PCCs of the respective states online. 

Entities that have EPR registration have to take responsibility for the plastic waste generated throughout their product’s lifecycle. By June 30th each year, they must also file annual reports. • Documentation
