What is Jan Aadhar Card Rajasthan?

In 2019, the launch of Jan Aadhar card was announced by the Government of Rajasthan. Jan Adhar Rajasthan Card is the new upgrade on the old Bhamashah card of the Rajasthan state.

What is Jan Aadhar Card under Jan Aadhar Yojana?

Jan Aadhar Yojana, also known as Jan Aadhar Scheme, was launched on 18th December in 2019. The objective of Jan Aadhar Yojana is to prepare a database of demographic and socio-economic information of families belonging to the state of Rajasthan and provide one number, one card, one identity to each family.

 

Jan aadhaar card, launched as part of Jan Aadhaar Yojana initiative, is a 10-digit unique ID which assists the Rajasthan State Government to identify an individual immediately by using the database. 

 

The state government schemes in Rajasthan require the Jan aadhar details on the Jan Aadhar Card such as the unique number mentioned on it. Some Jan Adhar related schemes are Kisan credit card, Shrijan Employment Scheme, Widow Scheme of Chief Minister Sambal, Chief Minister’s Scholarship Program for Higher Education, Scooty Distribution Scheme for Female Students at Devnarayan and Girl Student Scholar Incentive Scheme of Devnarayan.

 

Jan Aadhar Rajasthan Card serves as identity proof and address proof for Rajasthan residents. All residents and families belonging to the Rajasthan state are eligible for Jan Aadhaar Card Registration.

How to Apply for Jan Aadhaar Card?

By visiting jan aadhar.rajasthan.gov.in one can apply for Jan Aadhaar Card online. The steps to apply for Jan Aadhaar Card are mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the jan aadhar website and then click on ‘Jan Aadhaar Enrollment’.

Step 2:  Then on the next page, click on “JAN AADHAAR ENROLLMENT through JAN AADHAAR PORTAL - USER MANUAL”. Then, click on the ‘Citizen registration’ section

Step 3: Type in your ‘Aadhaar number’ and click ‘submit’
Step 4: Once you have finished the Jan aadhar registration, go back to the ‘Jan enrollment page’ and click on ‘citizen enrollment’
Step 5: Fill in the required details and then click ‘E-KYC’, fill in the OTP and finish the enrollment process.

How can I know my Jan Aadhaar Number?

If you have a Jan Aadhaar Card but you don’t remember your Jan Aadhaar Number, you can get Jan Aadhaar Number by sending SMS, by using Mobile Application or by visiting SSO ID login.

 

Jan Aadhaar Number through SMS

To get Jan Aadhaar Number through SMS, you can use ‘Jan Aadhaar enrolment ID’ or ‘Aadhaar number’ or ‘Mobile number’ already registered into the family profile.

Alternatively, you can get your family Jan Aadhaar Number and e-card by downloading the Jan Aadhaar Mobile Application from the Playstore.

 

Jan Aadhar Number through SSOID Login

Jan Aadhaar Card number can also be obtained using SSOID Login in Profile section. In case the Jan Aadhaar number isn’t available in SSO profile, you can get it by updating the existing enrolment ID in your SSO profile.
