The Trademark Journal is a journal published by the Trademarks Department, Ministry of Commerce & Industry of GOI. Within 4 months from the date of Trademark Journal’s publication, if any person has any trademark objection regarding any trademark, he can file notice of opposition against it. The purpose of publishing this journal is to create public awareness about any trademark applications received by the registrar.

A trademark journal is a publication which consists of all the details relevant to the trademarks accepted by the Trademarks Department. The trademarks are advertised by the registrar of trademarks. Anyone can access this weekly journal by visiting the official website of the registrar of trademarks. A window of 4 months is provided to the public to raise any objections related to the trademark from the advertising date of the journal. In case there is no objection raised, a registration certificate is provided to the trademark owner.
